Melissa Grassia-Chisholm, Expert Voice Swallow Airway Specialist, Licensed Speech Pathologist and CEO of Voice Rehab She studied vocal performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and later received her bachelor’s degree at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. Music has always been her passion and sings locally today. She continued with the medical side of voice management and received her Master’s Degree at Nova Southeastern University in Ft Lauderdale, FL. Her patients range from professional speakers, head & neck cancer survivors, people living with Parkinson's Disease, to Grammy award winning artists. She believes that........... “Every voice deserves to BE HEARD". She has a passion for flexible endoscopy whether its used for voice & swallow diagnostics or biofeedback for functional dysphagia or even singers working on vocal techniques, or chronic cough patients who just can't stop clearing their throat. With visualization of the pharyngeal/laryngeal mechanism, the possibilities to incorporate endoscopy into your practice are endless. She has worked in a variety settings for the last 13 years including rehab facilities, hospitals, home health, and along side ENTs in clinics. Currently, she is the owner of Voice Rehab serving South Florida from West Palm Beach to Miami in partnership with ENTs and providing SNFS with mobile Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES) services.
